Michael O’Hara
My love for the outdoors began at the age of six, when my father started taking me “up north” to the Adirondack Mountains of New York. He taught me the ways of the woods; how to knot my fishing lines, follow compass bearings, and how to make a warm fire when the woods are dark and damp. With great admiration I learned from this woodsman and inside me grew a fascination with the wilderness, with adventure, and with exploration.
Photography brings me so much happiness. I really enjoy the technical and creative challenge behind making an image that holds your attention for more than just a moment. I carry a camera with me, just about everywhere I go, so that when that interesting scene presents itself, I can at least try to capture it.
Work hard. Play hard. Be a good person.
